 Frying your chicken may seem very difficult but it is actually quite straightforward and it can be made even better than fried chicken from fast food shops. If you have a thermometer and timer for oil, you can make a failed-proof fried chicken.If you ever want to make your own fried chicken, make it at home now, and not to mention the test, you all know very well.

Materials You Need:
1. 6 chicken thighs
2. 6 chicken drumsticks
3. 3 cups buttermilk
4. 1/2 cup Hot Sauce
5. 2 teaspoons salt
6. 1 teaspoon pepper
Mixtures:
1. 3 cups all-purpose flour
2. 1/2 cup cornstarch
3. 1 tablespoon salt
4. 1 tablespoon paprika
5. 2 teaspoons onion powder
6. 2 teaspoons garlic powder
7. 1 teaspoon dried oregano
8. 1 teaspoon dried basil
9. 1 teaspoon white pepper
10. 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
11. 1 quart white oil for frying

How is it? Here are some simple steps you can take to begin the process of preparation for mediation.

Step 1:
In a large mixing bowl, combine together the buttermilk, hot sauce (option chunks, for added flavor), salt and pepper. Add the chicken pieces. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and keep it in the fridge for 4 hours.
Step 2:
In a large bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, basil, white pepper, red pepper, paprika and salt to prepare the breading. Mix well.
Step 3:
When ready to cook, pour the white oil into a saucepan until it is about 3/4 inch deep. Preheat the oil to 350 degrees.
Step 4:
Remove the chicken pieces from the buttermilk mixture. Gently shake to remove excess. Put it in the breading mix and coat / smear well. Tap Extra.
Step 5:
Now place the breaded chicken in 350 degree oil. Fry 3 or 4 pieces at a time. Marinated chicken oil will lower the temperature so keep it as close to 350 degrees as possible so you can reduce it a little if needed. Fry each piece for about 2 to 14 minutes until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165 / C / Deep Yellow.
Step 6:
Remove from the oil and place on a paper towel. Let them cool for at least 10 minutes before serving. Then serve with onion, sauce etc.

1.wHAT KIND OF OIL IS BEST FOR FRYING?

2.HOW MANY MINUTES DO I COOK FRIED CHICKEN?

The average piece of chicken will need to be fried for 14 minutes. Each piece of chicken will be different though so make sure you cook each one to a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees.

3.DO I HAVE TO USE CORNSTARCH? CAN I REPLACE THE FLOUR?
Cornstarch is one of our recommended ingredients for the crispiest fried chicken. Cornstarch is often used in Asian fried chicken recipes. The combination of the flour with cornstarch produces the crispiest result. You can replace all of the flour with cornstarch, or you can try using a similar non-gluten based flour or flour blend in place of traditional all-purpose flour.
